In 2007 a Canadian label called Peppermill Records asked me to be part of an interesting project where we had to write, record & finish a song within 24 hours based around a newspaper headline from that particular week. "Injuries Being Called Suspicious" is one of the few songs that had been previously released in digital format from this album but I felt that it was under-heard by many & fit nicely within this collection of tunes.

Sometimes you come across an artist that is compelled to do what they do. I appreciate the musicality and the arrangement and the artistry of the songs. He sings and plays like his life depends on it. I appreciate the humanity of the lyrics… Like reading Tortilla Flats, or watching Nobody’s Fool. Ceschi is a bright star.
